Praise God: Tickets issued to Greenville church goers are dropped!

God answers prayer! Also thanks to Pastor Charles Hamilton for sounding the alarm for what happened in Greenville Mississippi on April 8th and 9th.

Wednesday April 8, 2020 the Greenville police department issued $500 tickets to over a dozen congregants for sitting in their cars in the church parking lot of Temple Baptist Church while listening to a preaching service. On April 9th they showed up to King James Bible Baptist Church but issued no tickets.

Due to the prayers of many and public pressure the mayor of Greenville has decided to drop the tickets given to the church members. Also a factor I’m sure was the Governor, Tate Reeves, issuing this proclamation about the situation,  ddn-Errick-Derrick-Simmons-1-555x437

‪If you send police after worshippers trying to social distance, you are going to have Mississippians revolt. I’ve asked all pastors not to hold these services—but we ordered churches safe from these outrageous actions. Don’t trample the constitution.‬
‪Please use sense, everybody.‬

I think the lesson from this is, Don’t mess with God’s church!
