As pastor Charles Hamilton was preparing for his mid-week Bible study he noticed police cars flooding in the church parking lot.
Pastor Hamilton went viral on a Facebook post when he sounded the alarm just the day before, April 8th, when the Greenville police department of Greenville Mississippi gave more than a dozen church goers of the Temple Baptist Church $500 tickets for sitting in their cars in the church parking lot listening to preaching.
On April 9th, 2020 the Greenville police department showed up at Pastor Hamilton’s church, King James Bible Baptist Church, before the service started. Pastor Hamilton started videoing it on a live Facebook video. In one video you can hear an officer telling him, “Your rights have been suspended.”
This allegedly is coming down from the mayor of Greenville, Mayor Erick Simmons.
This is clearly a violation of the Constitution. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;”
This town and mayor better be ready for a heafty lawsuit!

I don’t know the exact time stamp but it’s in the middle. I heard him say it. It’s when he’s speaking to the officer in the light blue button down shirt, the officer in uniform next to him says it.
